The Fairer Glasgow Employer Award

This year we are launching a new award during the ceremony - The Fairer Glasgow Employer Award. Along with supporting young people, we want to

hear about other things you are doing to contribute to making Glasgow a great place to work.

The aim of the Fairer Glasgow Employer Award is to reward and celebrate local employers who have put in place policies and practices to improve the

working lives of their employees in the following five areas:

o              Having a Voice at Work

o              Opportunity at Work

o              Security at Work

o              Fulfilment at Work

o              Respect at Work

More information about each of these areas is provided with the nomination form for the Fairer Glasgow Employer Award.

We are keen to hear from you and the work you are doing to provide fair work for your employees. Your input this year, as a Business Leader is crucial as it

will shape what the award will look like for future years. Any employer who is registered with the Glasgow Guarantee can nominate their organisation for

the Fairer Glasgow Employer Award and nominations will be invited from all Glasgow employers in the coming years. We look forward to hearing from you.
